BALEKA RESORT HOTEL

It has been a while since my last stay , around 7 years , but nothing has really changed . Staff are very helpful & courteous , air con was good in the room and the place was nice and clean . The onsite restaurant has changed , good food and live music .nGreat location , short walk to Legian beach , short taxi ride to Kuta or Seminyak .

We stayed at the Baleka for a week early October 2022.nI cannot fault the staff they were incredible and so friendly! nnWe booked the lagoon pool balcony view room - HIGHLY recommend - lots of privacy and space. I do recommend going down this end of the hotel as the other end could get quite noisy with the Fat Buddha bar having live music most nights.nnRoom itself although basic was very clean and comfortable. Balcony was really handy and nice to sit outside and watch the rain when the thunderstorms rolled in. nnHaving the 2 pools was fantastic and they were some of the cleanest I have seen! Both very deep so just be aware when jumping in!nnThe book exchange/library at reception was awesome - I finished my book and was able to swap it for another - so handy when on holiday and relaxing!nnStaff are incredibly helpful - I didn’t grab the receptionist’s name on the night but the night we left we had an issue where we left a very special painting on the lobby steps on the way to the airport. Managed to get hold of reception via WhatsApp and they organised a Gojek to bring it to us at the airport! Staff even stayed and messaged me to check if I needed anything translated to the Gojek driver.nnI will be forever thankful to you for this as it’s such a special memory of Bali we will treasure for many years!

Mixed review for the Baleka. Fantastic location walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Booked pool side access ,hand held shower over the bath but very low which made it hard to wash your hair. Room is right next to restaurant which has live bands every night that are very loud,at least the music stops at 11pm. The staff are wonderful very kind and friendly. Special mention to Fitria who made our stay very enjoyable great worker always with a kind smile.
